Dozen...

this morning Hodge and I hit the next stop on his freedom parkrun tour - Burley Griffin...

conditions were cool, perfect for a run...no issues except he ran across in front of me just as we deviated for the finish, my fault as I forgot to warn him...

start temp/humidity: 8.6/99% (apparent temp 7.9)
start time: 8:01am
total distance: 4.95
total time: 27:25
avg pace: 5:33
total calories: 345
avg HR: 142
TE: 3.0
Recovery HR: 116/38
BPK: 788
avg cadence: 174

1k splits: 5:39, 5:35, 5:32, 5:32, 5:09

next up was golf with the first monthly medal of the year...new local rules were in place due to COVID-19...no swapping of cards (score your own round with verbal checks) and therefore no signing of cards, no removing the flag from the hole, no rakes in use and the usual maintaining physical distance from each other (easy the way I play!)...

had two bad holes on the front 9 (1 triple & 1 quadruple) to finish with 48 off the stick..had 18 putts with 2 3-putts which were on the blow out holes...

the 10th was interesting...a crow stole my ball after my tee shot...ordinarily you would be able to replace the without penalty if you knew where he took it from or if you were virtually certain where it was taken from...however, the 10th has a dip which prevents seeing where most player's tee shots ended up...so I had to run back to the tee and play a second ball..my second shot with this ball landed next to the green and on approach the blinking crow came back and stole this ball but at least we knew where to put the next replacement ball!

my back 9 wasn't too bad (1 birdie, 2 pars, 2 bogeys, 3 doubles) until I hit the 17th then had far too many interactions with trees to finish with a dozen, yes, a 12...50 off the stick on the back gave me 98 net 82...my putting came good on the back with only 12...

that may be my last comp game for awhile as my membership ends Tuesday and I don't want to pay for a 12mth membership when I only play about 6 months at the moment due to cricket...I have approached the club about offering 6mth memberships (Apr-Sep/Oct-Mar) for people that either play other sports or don't like playing in the middle of winter or the middle of summer...

on the way home I called in to see Jodie & Lisa to help them move furniture after they had new flooring installed...
