parkrun #198...

yesterday was my first parkrun back at Tuggeranong this year...conditions were muggy after overnight drizzle right up until the start...

played our fist game of cricket in three weeks due to the long weekend and last week's round abandonment due to the state of emergency...

we sit in 5th, 5pts out of 4th, and needed a double bonus point win over the bottom place team to keep ourselves in contention for finals...

the forecast was a concern and the plan was to bat first hoever they won the toss and elected to bat...after reducing them to 9/26 in the 20th over, it took 14 more overs to take the last wicket and secure one bonus point with an over to spare as we dismissed them for 59...

we then racked up the required runs in the 12th over for the loss of only one wicket to secure the second bonus point...

I went to Deakin and watch our 4s fail to defend 276 which puts their finals chance in jeopardy...in fact our 5s were the club's only team to win...the 1s remain top of the table while the 3s are also a chance to miss finals...

this morning I took the boys on the extended loop...we started in drizzle and ended in steady rain...

after watching the women defeat England I called in to see mum for her birthday (78) and then dropped the car fridge back to Jodie...
