cricket training after work at Reid...
Friday...walked the dogs, drove to the yacht club and walked to work...walked to/from FkF...walked back to the yacht club after work..
got petrol/did the shopping at Majura Park before heading into Phillip for another session against the bowling machine with Jodie..
this morning I did a freedom parkrun before volunteering as timekeeper...the rain stopped just after I started...there were plenty of puddles and it was quite muggy...

the wind picked up for parkrun itself which made it a bit cooler but I did put a jacket on...
finally I got to play my first game of cricket since 10 March 2018...with 5ths forfeiting due lack of players due to the long weekend/school holidays/concerts, I ended up playing 3rd grade which was made up of a mix of 3rd & 5th grade...we played STC Pumas at Isabella Plains...
I was also named to captain - I lost the toss and we were put in to bat...I batted at 4 and came to the crease with the score at 2/16 in the 14th over...I was 3rd out with the score at 36 in the 25th over for 10 (47 balls, 1 x 4)...I felt reasonably comfortable batting but just got out to an ordinary shot to an ordinary bowler, caught at gully off the face of the bat trying to cut...
in the end we batted out the overs (40 down from 45 due to daylight savings not having started) to score 8/73...
they scored the runs in the 20th over 3 down...I opened the bowling and took 1/8 off 4 thanks to great catch off a hard shot at widish midwicket (I nearly got a second the following over in a similar manner)...
it was great to be back playing even though we got pumped...everyone seemed to enjoy it too...
Tammie scored her first live game in full colour and did a great job with everything adding up...
after packing up and dropping Tammie home, I headed to Curtin to catch the end of our 4th grade game...chasing 188, they fell three short...
