Day 167/physio #17...

had a quiet day yesterday...watched the BBL Final, what a collapse by the Stars!

this morning I walked the boys before busing in to work...

had physio session #17: knee to wall still +7...checked step down control, balance on mini tramp with toe touches to four points, triple step with hold on mini tramp, triple step with hold on ground with hands above head, triple extension...back to ladder drills for more explosive/reactive effort...one step/step, two steps/step, 2 forwards/2 backwards moving sideways each way, 2 steps/step changing direction on physio call...plyo hops (x4) for distance...then did some accelerating from standing start...then some cricket specific fielding - walking in and jumping to catch, chasing rolled ball to turn and throw...then checked single leg press - 2 x 8 x 2 with increased weight...I'm to keep doing current exercises and adding in some acceleration drills/change of direction running drills...can make myself available to sub field for Barton (providing there's no issues from adding in the new running drills)...back to physio in a fortnight...

went for an easy 40 at lunch...was warm and breezy...my ankle was a little achy in the back end from physio but I think it's just a case of it adapting as has happened with the other exercises I've added in...
