the new toy is a Glide Mahi sit on top kayak...it was the last one at Rays Outdoors and was the display model so as well as getting $200 off in the sale as a club member they also threw in a paddle due to some scratching on the stern where it had been rested...
after watching some cricket I headed out to Gungahlin Pond to test the new toy...it was a bit windy but I had no trouble paddling around to find two caches...I then had another short paddle on Yerrabi Pond to be second to find on one just published...
the Thule racks worked a treat and I had no trouble getting the kayak on and off my car...
this morning I had a very ordinary parkrun...it was muggy but breezy...my left leg was complaining the whole time...

golf was muggy and windy (!)...would have had a good round if I didn't have FIVE 3-putts which cost me FIVE points as I finished with 32...
