I bused to work after walking the boys…
Tammie picked me up at 1:50pm for our trip to Narooma for the Ladies Seahorse Classic…21 members travelled from our club and we all stayed at Narooma Palms…
we arrived in time to see the Shoot Out which was won by a former member of our club…
after dropping our gear off at the hotel we headed back for dinner, raffles, keno and the pokies…
Saturday
this was my first parkrun-free Saturday since 29 April…the nearest parkruns were Batemans Bay and Beg and neither fit around my tee time of 8:44am!
the weather was great although we did have a sea mist roll in about 9:30am…
I played 5 over my handicap in what was my best round there in 7 attempts since 2006!
Tammie had a great round playing 3 better than her handicap and ended up winning the A grade nett plus was part of the winning Team Salver team…!
we had a BBQ dinner at the hotel where some of the ladies had made salads and organised bread etc…a lot of the meat was won the previous night!
Sunday
once again the weather was great but unfortunately we didn’t play as well as the Saturday…I was 10 shots worse and Tammie 12…
we didn’t hang around as the last group wasn’t due in until 5:30pm….we arrived home not long before 6 with a few stops along the way…
today there was a light rain for our walk…
I drove to the yacht club and walked to Albert Hall to catch the bus the rest of the way…it didn’t rain…
it rained through the morning and was still lightly raining when a bunch of us headed to Kokomo for a farewell/good luck lunch (one was finishing up as a grad and the other is getting married in three weeks)…by the time we finished the sun was back out…
I wonder what weather we will have for speedygeese?!
