opted for something different on my BRun - did a loop around Lennox Gardens then around Central Basin (checking out the Floriade fencing - still not down) then another loop of Lennox Gardens...was originally going to do another loop of Central Basin but left later than I intended...

the clouds built up through the afternoon and by the time I got off the bus in Woden to head to speedygeese it had started to rain...
initially I parked inside the gates but then saw on FB that SG was parked across the road so I moved over there...in the meantime the rain had gotten heavier...I couldn't see anyone so headed home about 5:45pm to watch the cricket...turns out SG did short run starting just before I got there while Brownie did a run after I left...
the Aussies batted well after being put in with the top 3 scoring 50...Villani was out to a good catch at backward point which brought Haynes to the crease and she proceeded to rattle up 89* off 56 to take the score to 5/296...
there was a downpour in the break which delayed play about 30mins and then the Aussies never let them get on top even with another rain delay which saw a minor reduction in overs...
