The Coast Days 1-3...

Monday

it was nice to walk the boys in daylight for a change….they didn’t get as much off-lead time at the ovals as there were Kanga Cup teams warming up to play…

we hit the road for Batemans Bay just after 10am…we had to drop the cats in to the vet ans then pick up the boat from Tammie’s parents…

we checked in to our accommodation just after 1pm…didn’t do much else for the afternoon except some shopping and some tennis…

Tuesday

up earlyish for a holiday (!) to do my run around Sunshine Bay…

we waited for Tammie’s mum to arrive before heading out on the water…we went up the Cylde River…spent just over 4hrs on the water, no fish but it was good to be out there…

Wednesday

up early to do the Sunshine Bay BBQ Stakes…I’d pre-planned the route to 6.03k but it didn’t pan out that distance in the end…

start temp/humidity: 6.0/94% (apparent temp 4.5)
start time: 7:57am
total distance: 5.90
total time: 32:26
avg pace: 5:30

TE: 3.5
Recovery HR: NR

splits: 5:54, 5:14, 5:19, 5:59, 5:25, 4:36

was quite a hilly course so a good effort in my books!

today’s fishing destination was Burrill Lake and after a couple of hiccoughs along the way we hit the water at around 11:45am…

we spent just over 3.5hrs on the water and had a little more luck with the fish, certainly there were a lot of bites…we ended up catching two bream and two snapper, undersize but at least we caught something…

we headed back around 4:30pm and then went out to dinner at the Catalina Club at 6:30pm with an old friend of Tammie’s who lives down here…

now keeping track of the Aussies v Pakistan match online were the Aussies are struggling at 3/60…
