street O @ South Queanbeyan...

a nice morning for a walk Monday although it's definitely getting fresher...

with street O on a new map @ South Queanbeyan, I loaded the bike on the car and parked outside the Brazilian Embassy before waling into work...

had more physio...should be right for the Wings for Life Run on Sunday so no need to go back unless I have further issues...

Jodie had a meeting in Civic so she picked me up and dropped me at my car before we both headed to Karabar...

it looked like a hilly area so we decided to aim for 15 controls, leaving the five in the southern part of the map...this was revised to 12 once we got going as it was hilly and there was a lot of backtracking involved...

the stats:
start temp/humidity: 14.4/72% (apparent temp 13.3)
start time: 6:16pm
total distance: 9.37
total time: 62:37 (official 62:30)
avg pace: 6:41
total calories: 642
avg HR: 125
TE: 2.4
recovery HR: 96/34
BPK: 835

our route was: 10 - 11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - 17 - 18 - 20 - 6 - 8 - F...only 5 people finished in 60mins or less across all of the courses...all participants on the A (18) & B (15) courses took over 70mins so we made a good choice to only go for 12...

Course C: 12 out of 20 controls

Men
1 Aaron Marshall 56.00
2 Jonathan Miller BS-A 66.00

Women
1 Bronwyn Calver BS-A 62.30
2 Carol Masters 63.40
3 Amelia Walton 67.00
4 Colleen Mock PO-A 70.00

the next event is on 8 May at Lyneham on a new map with Tate Needham as the course setter...

yesterday I had a day off to play golf with Tammie...I walked the boys as usual although an hour later then normal...

golf was stableford and it was quite fresh on the course...we both played below average in the front but did improve on the back...I had 32pts which was enough for a ball while Tammie had 21...she hasn't played for over 3 months...

we've got the Foursomes Champs on the weekend (Sat/Sun) so it should be fun...

we ended the day with dinner at Hog's Breath!
