did my shopping then settled in to watch the first match of the AFLW between Carlton and Collingwood in front of a lockout crowd at Ikon Park (aka Princes Park/Optus Oval)...Collingwood kicked the first goal but after that it was all Carlton with Darcy Vescio starring...
it was warm for parkrun...it was announced that the average number of runners for Tuggeranong has risen to 200.5 and today they had a record 405!
the stats:
start temp/humidity: 20.0/73% (apparent temp same)
start time: 8:03am
total distance: 4.98
total time: 23:02
avg pace: 4:38
total calories: 323
avg HR: 158
TE: 3.4
recovery HR: 104/64
heart beats per k: 732
splits: 4:23, 4:32, 4:38, 4:47, 4:41
40th out of 405, age 70.43%...2nd female (although I thought there was one more ahead of me, mustn't have crossed the line) out of 188...1st W45-49 out of 32...
after a quick shower and readying my gear for cricket, I headed into Phillip for my first serious yoga session with PowerYoga Canberra...I had purchased a $49 for 30 days pass to see if it could assist with my running...
it was a solid 75mins and I know what I need to work on!
then it was off to cricket at Hackett where we played the Queanbeyan Razorbacks...
we won the toss and batted first making 6/183...I batted at 4 and after two ducks on this ground(2nd baller in my first game there and then a golden duck two weeks ago) I finally scored some runs with 68...I've batted 4 times this season for two ducks and two fifties!
in reply, Queanbeyan struggled as our opening bowlers started on fire...they were all out in the 16th over for 54...so well did they bowl that I was only required to bowl 3 balls whereupon the last wicket fell to a direct hit run out at the bowler's end from deep cover!
I showered and changed at Jodie and Lisa's then watched the end of the Adelaide/GWS AFLW match before heading to mum and dad's for dinner...
now I'm watching the Western Bulldogs/Fremantle AFLW game which I recorded...
