we ended up stopping for the night in Wodonga at the Murray Valley Motel...
we were on the road by 9am yesterday and arrived back home at 12:45pm after a stop at the Tuckerbox to swap drivers and have a late breakfast...
just over 2300ks for the trip...the Thule pod was perfect, carrying both sets of golf clubs and one of the tower fans we purchased in Launceston...
it's good to be back home if only for a couple of days before we head to Brisbane (flying this time) for the weekend (up early Friday morning and back Monday late afternoon)...
spent the afternoon unpacking and washing before watching the cricket...
this morning I took the boys for a long walk including replacing the cache for Kambah's Sheep...
Jodie came over mid-morning to catch up before I headed in for the BBQ Stakes...
the heat rule was invoked and made it a non-competitive run with people choosing what time to start off...I started on 18:00 and took 32:17...it wasn't the heat that bothered me so much as the headwind...I think there were 44-45 participants in the end...with everyone scoring 2nd/49pts there was a random prize given for the winner...
