it was a lovely day to be at the gorge...we did the loop walk including the zig zag track...the peacocks were out and about and we saw a couple of chicks as well...we saw a seal up the river from Kings Bridge, resting on the rocks...squiggle took a ride on the chairlift...
we headed to Penny Royal for a late lunch...it was lovely...squiggle panned for gold and then went on the Brig Tamar Cruise...it's quite a cool set up in an old quarry...
we then caught up with more of Tammie's relatives...
Thursday no run for me as we headed out to play golf at Country Club Tasmania, just 10mins away...
it was a very pretty course...the front 9 wasn't pretty score-wise although Tammie had a great birdie on the 7th....I was 6 shots down at the turn...I improved by 13 shots on the back 9 but I still lost the "championship" by one...
from there we headed to Hadspen to meet little Lawson, Tammie's newest cousin...he's one and very cute...
after dropping Tammie and squiggle off, I took my car into town to get some new tyres and found three caches while I was waiting...
we took squiggle and Thomas to the cricket at UTAS Stadium - it was a standalone WBBL match between the Hurricanes and the Thunder...the Hurricanes rattled up the highest score of the season (3/171) to defeated the defending champions by 44 runs...
this morning I headed out for a run in a different hillier (!) direction...although all directions are hilly from where we are...
