conditions were sunny but cool, at least it wasn't raining...the Orange 1 course was 5.2k...
aside from missing a short trail due to long grass on the way to #2 my nav wasn't too bad...but I was slow!

waiting for buses to get home took way longer than the actual riding of the bus...a quick shower then I was off to the hospital to see how Jodie was going...
she eventually got moved from emergency to 7B just before midnight...
it was very cool for this morning's walk - back into a jacket!
and it was beanie back on for the ride in...
the stats:
start temp/humidity: 9.3/61% (apparent temp same)
start time: 8:02am

total time: 38:51 (including 1:02 stopped time)
avg speed: 25.6kph
total calories: 266

the specialist had been in to see Jodie...he "was impressed with the spread and amount of clots"...her "clot levels were 14x normal"...he and the other two doctors that saw her "were amazed by her lack of symptoms and wellness and horrified by what she was doing activity-wise"...most people would have been very ill...
she's got one more night in hospital to check that the tablets (new ones not warfarin) she is on are working...no more Clexaine injections...no gym or any activity that makes her huff & puff for three weeks...then she might be able to up the intensity but might be 3 months before she can push it...6 months on the tablets so no contact sport (broomball) in that time...she will have a scan at 6 months to see if the clots are gone...hopefully there's no damage to her lungs...
