he got bailed up by two aggressive dogs out of their yard when he was off-lead...the owner had to call them away before he would come to me...that and a toilet stop for Hodge added about two minutes to our time!

I took my new bike for a test ride down to Jodie's place so she could check it out in the flesh...got swooped twice on the way back...
around midday we left for Yass to take squiggle back (she's going on a 10-day cruise from today so they were staying in Sydney overnight)...we did some caching along the way - we found 7 with squiggle and then another 13 after...7 to go for 3000 for me...
up early this morning to walk Hodge and get to work as I had a doctor's appointment at 9am...
no dogs or magpies to terrorise Hodge along the way...
first commute on the new machine was a quick one, I think if I have a good run with traffic and lights I'll be able to break 35mins...
