street O @ Bruce...

didn't end up doing much more on Sunday...we took squiggle to the Hyperdome so she could spend her Dymocks voucher...then I just watched footy and read for the rest of the day while Tammie took squiggle back to Gundagai...

yesterday I was up on time to walk Hodge in overcast conditions...bused to work as usual...

at lunch I went for a walk up to the playground near the Carillon, finding three caches...a few spots of rain and it was a bit windy but otherwise it was a nice walk...

by the time we got to street O at Bruce it had been raining for a couple of hours...due to the conditions, John decided it would be an honour system run in that you didn't have to take a control card as it would just turn to mush...in the end I double bagged our map and bagged a control card which seemed to work ok...only the finish control punch was missing...I ended up running in my Jets hoodie for an extra layer of dryness...only 8 of us including Marty Dent and his son Eli ended up doing the event...

visibility was low especially with the rain on my glasses!...plus the map was hard to read as the control circles weren't black but paler...still it was good fun and we did our usual C course....lots of puddles, some we saw early enough to avoid and some not...

up on time this morning to walk Hodge then ride into work...was very soggy but at least it wasn't cold...finally, I had a tailwind to work - back under 40!
