Saturday saw an early start with me dropping Tammie off at the airport...she's off to Brisbane for her best friend's 40th which a bunch of them are celebrating with a cruise to Airlie Beach (5 days/4 nights)...so I took advantage of some spare time to drop off some trackables I'd picked up on my trip and also found five caches before heading to golf...
it was the second round of the Weekend Trophy and also Monthly Medal...I shot the same as last week 87/net 76 to finish equal third, three shots behind surprise(d) winner Suze and two shots out of second...
from golf it was off to GEO to watch the Jetettes play Tuggeranong...I ended up being flapper (aka goal umpire)...the Jettettes started slowly but finished with a bang...the final score was 2.3-15 to 4.10-34...they won the last quarter 2.1 to 0.2 and restricted Tuggeranong to 10pts in the second half...
Sunday I played in the Murrumbidgee Open Day...tee off was at 8:37 for me and it was quite fresh...having played in shorts the day before it was time to switch to long pants!
had an average round 92/nett 81 but it was good fun...
I took the boys down the oval before Jodie helped me re-arrange some furniture while the Collingwood/North Melbourne game was on - I gave up on the 'pies at halftime when they were 39 down but watched incredulously as they ended up winning by 17...
