about 19 runners for the first FkF of 2015...it was a bit warm and with sore legs I was aiming for around 25 so I'm not too disappointed in the time...
the stats:
start temp/humidity: 29.2/50% (apparent temp 30.0)
start time: 12:27pm
total distance: 5.02
total time: 25:13
avg pace: 5:03
total calories: 347
avg HR: 156
splits: 4:43, 5:00, 5:07, 5:02, 5:16, 0:04
Tammie picked me up at 2:30pm for the drive to Spotless Stadium...lucky I allowed extra time as the traffic once we got off the M5 was horrendous...
we arrived at the ground just after 6pm which gave me time to get where I needed to be and for Tammie to meet up with her brother and family...
this was the first game at this venue - it's the Giants' Sydney home ground...a drop in pitch was in place and despite it being in since September, it played a bit up and down...
the Thunder batted first and were restricted to 7/77 off 17 overs after a rain delay in the 14th over...the Hurricanes' target was 82 and they got it with 20 balls to spare...
we were back home at about 1:45am after a couple of stops...
Saturday there was no dog walk before golf...we played stableford and managed to only have to play 2 holes in the rain - I finished with 32pts after a good front 9 (19pts) which was enough to win a ball as the scores were quite low...
Sunday we went to Costco, Petbarn and Pete's before taking the boys for a long loop...
today I scored the tour match between an ACT XI and England - in fact the ACT used 15 players and England 13 (only 11 batted)....England racked up 6/364 with 5 batsmen reaching 50 and then knocked over ACT for 148 in the 33rd over...
hopefully it'll be a good game on Wednesday for the PM's match...
tomorrow I'm playing golf so hopefully the weather will hold off until the afternoon...
