Wednesday I walked both boys on the long loop before heading to Fraser to pick up mum and dad for the PM's XI game...I found a couple of caches on the way to their place...
it had rained a bit in the morning but the weather fined up perfectly for the cricket...England won the toss and batted first making 6/391!...Ian Bell nearly carried his bat, making 187 off 145...
in reply, the PM's XI fell 30 runs short (722 runs for the day!) with Glenn Maxwell making 136 off 89 balls!! The player from PNG, Lega Siaka, was also a crowd favourite...fielding well and even bowling some leg spin before making an entertaining 27 off 15...
yesterday it was back to work so i walked Hodge on his usual loop before catching the bus into work as Mum & dad were picking me up after work to go to the football (UAE v Bahrain)...
no exercise at lunch as I had to bus over to Forrest to pick up my pocketwifi...I'd left it at Manuka the night before and only realised on the way home...
the soccer was very entertaining with a goal inside 15secs to UAE!...in the end they won 2-1...
this morning I walked Hodge and, having organised myself the night before (!), then rode to work...
it felt slow but I must have made up time again in the back half as I was only just over 40mins...

I was saddened to hear the news that Rad has a brain tumour and will be having an operation soon...he's 87 and goes in everything athletic...I hope it goes well for him...
tuned into the cricket to hear England 2/0 after 3 balls! hope it's still on by the time I get home...
