Madeleine!

Wednesday I was up early to walk Hodge before we headed over to pick mum & dad up for our flight to Brisbane…

I’d arranged a hire car at the other end and once we picked that up we headed into the city to help Tim finish the move out of their apartment…we eventually hit Marcoola where we were staying (Ramada Marcoola Beach) at 5:30pm…

with Erin not up to coming out to dinner, Tim took us out to the Marcoola Surf Club before we headed back to the accommodation to watch the State of Origin (I made mum & dad watch!) after picking up some supplies at the nearest supermarket…

Thursday morning we met up with Tim, Erin and Erin’s parents (Bob and Glenys) to have coffee/breakfast at Bulli Café before Erin headed to the hospital…we took some “before” shots for the record!

with time to burn until the birth, we found a cache near Maroochydore Airport to drop off seven travellers (and pick three to bring to Canberra) then did a recce to the hospital so we would know where to go…from there we headed into Mooloolaba for some more caching and a late lunch…

with still no word we headed up to Palmer Coolum Resort to see the Palmersaurus then did one more cache before heading back to the accommodation…

we’d barely been inside 10 minutes when we got the word that we could go visit!

we jumped in the car and were soon admiring our niece/grandchild!
