Finally!

had a good run at lunch on Wednesday...felt cruisey but the pace was good...

the ride home was uneventful...

footy training was good, another excellent turn out...I playing centre this week as our usual centre (also our assistant coach) is on holiday...should be a hard game, we've never beaten the Hawks (but have had one draw)...

ANZAC Day saw me playing golf...10pts better than Saturday (wouldn't be hard!) and I managed a birdie on the first with a monster putt...lost the plot over the last two holes to finish 4 over my handicap...

I gave myself a day off today...did a couple of caches and some domestic stuff in the morning then headed in for FkF...

it was good to see my rabbit (aka Cookie) return for her first run in ages... she started off 11:30, 3:00 in front of me...speedygeoff started with me...

didn't look at my watch once despite the k split beeps, just focused on reeling in the runners in front of me...I kept waiting for speedygeoff to go past...I finally passed the rabbit at Regatta Point then pushed hard for the finish and managed to finally sneak back under 22!...

obviously I am pretty pleased with that, now my goal will be to back it up again next week...

Cookie finished with 25:39 while speedygeoff did 22:05...

next was a ride around the back of Campbell Park offices, finding 12 caches in a series named for the planets and their natural satellites (moons) - it was about a 6k ride and took 1hr44mins to complete...after that I maintained a cache for Suze in Barton...

now enjoying the rest of the evening, watching some footy and making some caramel slice for tomorrow's round!

will be doing my long run tomorrow morning before golf...

Broomball update:

Day 1: lost to SA 0-2, defeated NSW 2-1 (upset), defeated QLD 6-1

Day 2: drew with SA 1-1 (SA is the only undefeated team), defeated QLD 4-0

Day 3: They play NSW in the morning with the winner playing SA in the final! *****
