Saturday was golf day but I must have left my game at home as I narrowly avoided my worst stableford score ever...I finished with 19pts which means I played to a 28, oops!
watched softball - a tight game between Classics and Boomerangs which ended in a 3-3 draw...
this morning I repeated last week's effort of running from Kambah to Stromlo Forest Park to coincide with the speedygeese training session...10mins longer this week and I chose to go a different way as well...
the stats:
start temp/humidity: 16.9/72% (apparent temp same)
finish temp/humidity: 17.5/68% (apparent temp same)
start time: 6:36am
total distance: 17.85
total time: 110:00
avg pace: 6:10
total calories: 998
avg HR: 132
I felt like this run was a little more undulating...
spent about 4hrs or so following a couple of groups at the final dya of the Australian Women's Open at Royal Canberra...followed Karrie Webb on the front nine then had a break for lunch then followed the final pairing of Jiyai Shin and Lydia Ko over the front 9 as well...these guys shared a 6 shot lead...Ko is the world's leading amateur and is only 15...she didn't start well and finished 3 over par for the day and 3rd 4 shots off the pace...Shin shot 1 under par to win while world #1 Yani Tseng shot 7 under for the day to finish 2nd two shots behind...
now I'm watching the women's World Cup final between Australia and the West Indies - Australia won the toss and elected to bat...they are 1/62 in the 14th over...
