Long run...

got two text messages before golf yesterday saying two members of my group were pulling out as it was "yucky"...I decided to rock up anyway and it was fine for golf with only a couple of brief showers...

I was 7 shots better than last week (not hard!) but still 9 over my handicap...I need to pull out a good round next week or my handicap will be back out to 13...I at least birdied the 9th (what a waste in a poor round!)...

did a couple of caches around Macgregor beofre heading to Hawker for a softball double-header...the Classics won the first match 10-3 (I think) but lost the second 6-0...

this morning I got up early and head out for my long run beofre the sun was up...it rained (heavy drizzle) for two thirds of the run and several creeks were overflowing in Nicholls...

after a quick shower and breakfast it was off to caddie for Suze in the first round of Bruce Cup (match play)...this was played at Gungahlin Lakes against Goulburn...in what was a very slow round (nearly 6hrs - the other three players were as bad as Sergio Garcia!) Suze ended up going the distance but losing one down...the weather made it pretty tough...I'll probably be playing next week as one of the players from this week is unavailable...

finally got the results of Cookie's race - she won!...I wonder what's next?!
