found a (puzzle) cache in Fyshwick then headed to Pete's to buy some new golf gloves as my old one had developed a hole in the thumb...
found another cache on the way home then got to watch the storm from the safety of my lounge...the wind was strong enough to move my balcony furniture so I ducked out to anchor it more securely...
after the rain eased, I headed out to the airport, picking up another cache on the way...the passengers on the Qantas fight from Melbourne (and the Virgin flight from Sydney) ended up being held on the tarmac for 30 minutes or so as the lightning had to move away from the airport before groundstaff could service the plan...
today my long run was completed in quite humid conditions, there were plenty of puddles lying around...my pace was better than the past two weeks even though I added in an extra hill...I lost 1.9kgs in fluid...
the stats:
start temp/humidity: 21.5/75% (apparent temp same)
finish temp/humdity: 24.0/67% (apparent temp same)
start time: 10:23am
total distance: 13.31
total time: 80:00
avg pace: 6:01
total calories: 829
avg HR: 143
later in the afternoon I went caching with a group, we climbed Urambi Hill which was a good workout for the legs before finishing with a couple of finds at Pine Island...good fun!
now I'm watching the men's final...Murray leads by 1 set...
