I decided to have a go at a PB, more specifically targetting 45:00...
I sat on Craig's shoulder for the first k or so but he steadily drew away from me...if I'd stuck with him I would have acheived my goal...
anyway, it was just a case of trying to keep going...in the end I was just over a minute outside my PB but I'm still happy with the run as it was quite humid...
Jodie lap scored for me and did a good job of trying to get me to lift my pace however I'm clearly not a very good listener!
7:50pm...starting temp/humidity: 21.8/61%...
splits:
1:43, 1:43, 1:46, 1:47, 1:49,
1:51, 1:52, 1:51, 1:53, 1:52,
1:54, 1:53, 1:54, 1:54, 1:54,
1:53, 1:50, 1:54, 1:54, 1:55,
1:54, 1:54, 1:53, 1:52, 1:45
4:19, 4:29, 4:38, 4:41, 4:44,
4:45, 4:41, 4:45, 4:45, 4:33
this one ranks as #3 out of 8...just outside my 2nd best time of 46:20.37...
funnily enough (not for Craig), he actually finished behind me but only because his lap scorer made him do an extra lap! hopefully they can figure out his time which would have been close to 45, if not spot on...

Good attempt Bron. Craig was given the time off the lap sheet, hence 45:00.00. You were slowly pulling away from me the first half (I was 23:11 at 5k) then rapidly pulling further away the second half.
Geez, these new word verification words are bloody hard!
