spent yesterday morning/early afternoon at the Hall markets with mum & dad for Father's Day...bumped into Jodie and her new partner (and little boy) as well...
then spent the afternoon caching with a friend...I found seven while she found ten...we did a cool night cache in Mulligan's Flat...
this morning was the usual gym session on the Day 1 program...barbell bench press still hurts so the weight will be left the same for a while but I upped the weights on the dumbbell incline bench press although not quite back to pre-injury levels...
after work was the speedygeese session at Parliament House:
attendees (12): Andrew, Andy, Cathy M, Colin, Craig, Dave, Neil, Ruth, SG, Warrick, Yelena and me...
warm up: 2.42k (usual big lap, then another run back to the usual hill)
12 x ~100m (steepish, 2 level) hills on 90sec: 27, 27, 26, 27, 27, 28, 29, 28, 30, 26, 25, 24
attrition hill sprints on the upper level of the usual hill - 2 slowest knocked out in the first repeat then one person per heat for the rest...I think the knockout order was Ruth/Yelena, Cathy, Dave, Neil, Warrick, Craig, me, Andy...the final was a tight affair with Andrew just pipping Colin...so I got to do 7 attrition sprints - 11, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10
warm down: 1.32k (3/4 reverse big lap on the parly house side of the road)
total 7.12k in 63:46...starting temp/humidity: 14.1/57%...avg HR: (strap forgotten!)...

My sixth sense told me you were ahead of Andy when Craig was eliminated ... so you could claim a tie for third.
Ewen was very disappointed at having to work and so miss training. He was there in spirit.
The final sprint-off was a three way reperchage (however you spell that) with Yelena this time tipping out Cathy and Ruth.
Hall Mkts was obviously the place to be on Fathers' Day - spotted Jodie and friend but missed you:(
