headed over to Canberra Hospital for a 9:15am appointment at the Registrar Review Clinic...Dr Tim Marshall reviewed the x-rays (online from Calvary rather than in hard copy)...he was reasonably pleased at the position of the bones although he need to get one of the specialists to give them the once over...
Nurse Tim applied a "Jet" blue fibreglass cast with a waterproof lining (yay, no more plastic bags!)...in and out in an hour all up...
mum & dad gave me a lift home and we'd made it two thirds of the way when Dr Tim rang to see if I could come back for a CT scan...the appointment was for 1-1:30pm so we had a 30min break at home before heading back...
the scan was quick (I had to lie on my stomach in the superman position!) then it was just a case of waiting for Dr Tim and the specialist Dr Bryan Ashman to check them...fortunately no surgery is required (yay) but I do have to return for another x-ray next week to make sure nothing has moved...in and out the second time in 1hr 40min...
so it's 6 weeks in the cast and I can resume running when the swelling has settled...

I suppose you took that photo with your left hand. Versatile!
If you cannot run on Thursday, are you still able to eat cookies?
(Janene doesn't want any cookies left over and I know she can rely on you)
So that'd be in the Customs on Friday?
I plan on being at speedygeese tonight but probably won't do any fast stuff...if I pull up ok from that then, yes, Customs is on the cards...
