golf tomorrow - stableford (off 16 this week)

Sunday morning I'm off to Melbourne for the ANZAC Day clash at the 'g between Collingwood and Essendon...this is Tim & Sheona's present to me for my birthday last year...Tim is an Essendon fan and I, of course, am a Collingwood fan...we are Victorian by birth and I can't remember a time growing up (we moved to Canberra at the end of '79) that we weren't having a kick or arguing the merits of our favourite teams...however, this will be the first time I've been to a match in Melbourne (I did see the Crows play Sydney in Sydney a few years ago)...

learning to kick an Aussie Rules ball made it easier when I started playing another form of football (soccer) after moving to Canberra, particularly seeing as I ended up being a goalkeeper in the first instance (1983-2000)...

back early Monday morning to do the Vets Handicap at Majura Nature Park...Jodie won't be allowed to run (doctor's orders) but will be riding around on her MTB after she picks me up from the airport...
