another big turnout at Customs...conditions were warmer than I expected (which I only realised after leaving the confines of work)...
I was back on the starting list with a decent handicap...

GRAND FINAL WEEKEND!!
for those of you that have nothing better to do on a Saturday afternoon at, say, 3:30pm, the mighty Black Bears are playing Bandits Black in the grand final at Narrabundah Ball Park (best access is off the dirt road at the end of Narupai Pl which itself is off Jerrabomberra Ave)...
hopefully it'll be a good, if not great, game!
after that, win, lose or draw we will be heading out for a team dinner to Antigo's in the city...
Sunday is the Vets Handicap at Stromlo Forest Park...I'm trying to persuade Jodie to join me so we'll see how it goes...
then we'll be back at Narrabundah @ 3pm for canteen duty while the A grade final is on - they play best of three, the first match was last night and the Bears (3rd) beat the Bandits (1st) 6-0...if a third match is required it will be played 30mins after the conclusion of the second match...looks like the season for underdogs (or underBEARS as the case may be)?!
