I've got the next three days off work as I'm doing the online scoring for the Futures League match between ACT and WA at Chisholm...
the match was originally meant to be at Manuka but got moved once a pre-season AFL match was scheduled for there...probably just as well because Manuka is a mess after the rain and the footy!
anyway, the match start has been delayed here so I took the opportunity to go for my 80min run around the paths of Chisholm etc down towards the Tuggeranong Town Centre and back...pleasant if breezy conditions...managed to not get lost!
the stats:
start temp/humidity: 19.6/55%
start time: 10:16am
total distance: 13.53
total time: 1:20:00
avg pace: 5:54

Must have been enjoyable running in a new area.
The Vets used to have a monthly handicap event, starting and finishing near the Chishilm shops.
There's a more interesting trail run heading east, then right past horse paddocks, then up the back of the houses, then under the highway and up along the railway. You won't get lost with a Garmin ;)
I guess there's no super-sopper at Chisholm?
A-R would never get lost Ewen, but many of us, including some of the speediestgeese, suffer from severe directional disability and would get lost as early as "heading east".
