Busy night...

four events (had only planned for three) tonight including Jodie's 3rd & final 3000m time trial...

6:01pm...3000m...26 runners...temperature ideal but wind not...

failed in my efforts to tag onto Helen and then Janene...17th in 13:01.88...Jodie did well to do 16:47.05 as the wind definitely picked up as the race went on...

splits: 0:44, 1:40, 1:47, 1:47, 1:49, 1:49, 1:48, 1:37
rough 1k splits: 4:12, 4:29, 4:21

7:22pm...2nd heat of the 800m, all female field of 7...3:07.44...1:29/1:38...finished 5th just ahead of Helen...Rachelle, Katie & Amanda were at the pointy end...Kathy S was 4th with Sue Archer the other runner...

just before 8pm teamed up with Amanda, Rachelle and Katie as the "Lilac Ladies" in the 4x100m relay...6 teams, we finished 4th in 1:01.94...

8:18pm...final event was the 4 Lap Spiral...leading in I was 2 points ahead of Ruth and 10 ahead of Sheryl...Sheryl started in Group 22 and Ruth in 32...too far ahead for me to catch, Rachelle tried to drag me through but I had nothing left to give...

Sheryl finished 11th and Ruth 12th with me in 25th...Ruth now leads the pointscore on 149, Sheryl is in 2nd on 142 and I've dropped back to 3rd on 140...

Janene started off Group 37 (I did protest her handicapping pre-race!) and as a result of finishing 5th has to start off Group 41 (same as me) next time...Ken W won off Group 35 (!) and has now been pushed back to Group 43...

now I have to pack for my trip to Adelaide!
