Track and a frock

Two events tonight...I stuck to the 3000m and 800m, giving the 10000m a miss...

6:03pm...3000m...11th in 13:10.26...no pace at all...

splits: 0:51, 1:43, 1:45, 1:47, 1:47, 1:49, 1:49, 1:40
1k splits: 4:19, 4:27, 4:24

7:21pm...800m, 2nd heat...1st in 2:57.30...cunningly placed myself in the second heat and led from start to finish although I was nearly chased down by Greg!...second time sub 3:00 for me and a season's best...~1:25 at the halfway mark...

I lapped recorded for my fellow geese Troy (~40:03) and Craig (~47:31)...got to see two ACT age group records broken in the 10k and 1 in the 4 x 100m relay by the M80s...Sue A did ~44:52 to break the W60 record (46:18) set by Annie Young in 1996 and Bob Chapman did ~51:26 to break the M75 record set by Hal Dalheim (52:33) in 1995!

then headed off to pick up the frock...mum's a marvel...feels comfortable and fits nicely...dressing mutton up as lamb!
