and I have another pair just like them somewhere...so competed tonight in one Injinji and one Wright Running Sox sock (which was not mine!)...
conditions were quite warm and hazy...very "dry in the mouth" for running...
three events:
6:04pm (temp 34.6)...3000m...10th for me in 13:11.65 and 17th for Jodie in a new PB of 16:44.66!...there was at least one DNF (Carol B)...
I was on track (pardon the pun) for the first 4.5 laps but struggled for the next two...
splits: 0:50, 1:42, 1:43, 1:46, 1:49, 1:51, 1:51, 1:40
1k splits: 4:19, 4:29, 4:27
7:23pm (31.7)...1500m...7th in heat 2 in 6:06.34
splits: 1:11, 1:40, 1:43, 1:32
8:26pm (27.3)...5 lap spiral...with Ruth and I level on points, the challenge was for me (starting Group 41) to catch her (Group 32) which I just managed in the last 150m or so (finishing 24th in a net time of 9:03.76)...bring on the 4 lap I say!

Oooh, let Ruthie tie - I was so anticipating an arm-wrestle tie-breaker.
