I know Jenny Bourne really well, she and her brother Richard and Richard's wife Denise used to compete with the Cross Country Club all the time many moons ago. Jenny must be much older than you, on the other hand, she was a national class orienteer (and still is I guess!) so letting her finish ahead of you is probably OK.
