and served by the man himself!
finally got to The Runners Shop when it was open and walked away with two pairs of shoes:
ASICS Gel-DS Racer VII (lime punch/lightning/black)
ASICS GT-2130 (black/platinum/cherry)
then spent a few hours caching on mountain bike at the back of Duffy and also on Mt Stromlo...
afterwards home to prepare dinner for mum & dad - I even made dessert (last night though)...a chocolate mousse made from scratch (using the Gordon Ramsay book I got for my birthday from Tim & Sheona)...it went down a treat and I still have one left!
finished the day with us all taking Hux for his walk...

The mountain at the back of Duffy is Narrabundah Hill,
Which is nowhere near the same named suburb.
I ran up Duffy Hill last week. I made the mistake of telling Christopher "take us anywhere except through long grass" so he took us through long grass. This week I told Rob Ey "take us anywhere except up the Stromlo mountain bike tracks" so he took us up the mountain bike tracks. A pattern is emerging.
Duffy Hill, as I call it, is much less enticing than it used to be: (a) you can see how steep the hill is now that there are no trees, and (b) you realise there is only one big hill, not a series of little ones, now that there are no trees. To which one could add, lack of pit stop opportunities, and lack of shade.
