forgot to mention a success story with AISCS customer service earlier in the week...
i have/had two pairs of the 2120s and with each pair i experienced some unusual wear near the right little toe (i.e. the mesh was ripping)...one pair was about 200k older than the other...in each case the area near the left little toe was also starting to go...
i emailed ASICS with photos of the "younger" shoes attached (~500k) outlining the history of each pair...
i got a reply within 2 days saying that the older pair had lasted about as long as expected (~700k) but that they'd like to see the "younger" pair...i was given a reply paid address so sent them off not thinking anything would come of it (i included a covering letter that stated if this wasn't normal wear & tear would it be possible to get a pair of 2130s as replacement - i have one pair of these already and love them!)...
lo and behold, i arrive home Tuesday to find a new pair of 2130s awaiting me...no explanatory letter or anything, just a new pair of shoes!
how cool is that?!
