the first race for me was the 3000m and was conducted in reasonably pleasant conditions (15.8 degrees, 68% humidity)....finished 14th in 13:16.34...

clearly the middle k is letting me down...I need to do more long runs on weekends which I'll be able to do after this weekend...

had a long wait until the spiral so helped out with giving placings in the 200s before having a go at the shotput...it started to rain about 2/3rds of the way through this so I was soaked by the end...

the temperature had dropped by about 4 degrees by the time the 8 Lap Spiral started plus the wind picked up as well so it was quite chilly with moisture still in the air...not many runners competed tonight and I finished 8th in a nett time of 15:53....
