Huxley's "1st" birthday...

we think being born on the last day in February in a leap year makes Hux a special dog...today he turns "1"....he (with Suze) was at Customs today although he didn't run it...he got to play with Kerrie's dog, got lots of pats and received a special mention in the post run announcements!

today's run was a PS PB by 1 second (LOL)...very happy with that after being a bit disappointed with last night's 3000m (which was my 3rd fastest...obviously I have higher standards now!)...it was also really windy on the edge of the lake, particularly between Regatta Point and the boat hire place and vice versa...

almost even pace (tick)

Yes, much better pacing. A longer warm-up (with breaks for stretches etc) might help some with the 3000m (if you get there in time).
