today's session was centered around doing 4k @ race pace so i aimed for somewhere in the range 5:00-5:15...it seemed to get gradually cooler and windier as the session went on...

took me a bit to get the pace right but i'm happy with the result as it's pretty much smack bang in the middle of where i want it to be...i averaged 5:33 for my one & only previous HM in Sydney in September last year so i figure, based on my training, 5:15 is a good goal for this one...

Heh, right, goals are too easy, I reckon you're secretly aiming to do the same pace the whole way at 5:08 at least. :) You're going to annoy that 1:50 and perhaps even blast it.

Have a good run on Sunday.

Commonwealth Avenue bridgeworks are still in progress, so there are minor changes to the course there, but it will be well marshalled.

Runners will cross on the eastern side.
