Another PB!!

i'm not sure what the heck is going on but i've managed to run another PB (the second time in 3 runs) for the Customs Joggers...

rocked up to the start to find i'd been hammered by the handicapper to the tune of 45secs...this meant i was now off 14:15 and nearly 7mins behind Jodie (7:30)...i wasn't very happy about this but it obviously spurred me on!

started with Kevin but "lost" him very early...i didn't think i had anybody to chase today but it turns out a guy i passed under commonwealth bridge was one of "us" and he stuck to my tail all the way around, passing me on the "hill" to the BBQ shelter turn to the finish but i caught and passed him again in my "sprint" to the end...

also didn't think i'd have a hope of catching Jodie but got her just before the "hill" despite her running another sub 30:00 (29:35) time...that's her 6th sub 30:00 time in 7 runs and her 5th consecutive...

made the turn in my quickest yet again 10:54 (!!), apparently this was good as Paul B informed me there was a headwind on the way out - i didn't really notice as i was trying to shake my "tail" and was still "fuming" over the handicap!....managed to hold it together to do 11:11 on the back to finish in 22:05!!

sunday - "easy" 120mins, golf spectating!
