worked at my first election - 7am until 11:45pm
very interesting to see how it all worked...spent most of my time issuing ballot papers...was good to see lots of young first time voters keen to play their part...
also had a couple of stints as ballot box guard and queue controller...
three booths in Yass and ours was the busiest - we had to steal a staff member & ballot papers from one of the other booths mid-morning...
