Saturday I did parkrun before cricket...first one in four weeks...conditions were pleasant

70th out of 351...64.06%...12th female out of 178 (7 unknowns ahead of me)...1st W45-49 out of 22...
went and watched some of our junior Bartonians playing in their 2-day Under 18 Div 2 Grand Final at Isabella Plains...they play quarters so each team bats for 25 overs on day 1 and then the same on day 2 with the team that batted second on day 1 batting first...
our preliminary final was against Workers Redbacks at O'Connor...they'd surprisingly lost the week before to miss out on direct entry into the GF...they were the only team we hadn't beaten this season...
they won the toss and batted...our bowling and fielding was "on" in the first session as we restricted them to 6/53 at drinks (23 overs)...
they got away from us a little in the next 17 overs with one batsman in particular swinging hard (he was dropped off my bowling at long on, d'oh)...but we still got them out for 121 in the 40th over...
we made a solid start with an opening partnership of 50 before losing both openers on that score...I went in at #4 then our numbers 3 & 5 both fell for 6 apiece with the score on 62 and 76 respectively...given our batting last week there may have been some nerves on the sideline but we had plenty of time, young gun Connor and I combined for 35 to all but get us over the line before I was caught at short midwicket...the game was all over when our #7 donked a 4 and 6 straight down the ground...we had 9.3 overs to spare...
now we take on the Lake George Bunyips at Southwell Park while our 3s play Canberra City, also at Southwell Park...
had an easy day yesterday...we moved the boat from Jodie & Lisa's to mum & dad's...went to the Hall Markets...picked up a dresser Tammie's dad had sanded back for squiggle...
spent the afternoon watching sport - AFLW, LPGA, cricket...
was overcast for this morning's walk and ride in...
