BBQ Stakes #3...

headed to the interchange only to see my bus just leaving...no problem I thought, ACTION says buses on the Blue Rapid route depart every 5-8mins...not today...the 300 didn't show then the 343 was 7mins late so I was 22mins later than planned...

I got off at Launceston St and jogged to the start...the last runner was just leaving so, once I signed in and paid my dollar, I was the backmarker off 27:00!

I lost sight of the runner in front before the Chifley shops...a bunch of runners next came into sight as I headed down Devonport St (they were crossing the road)...I lost sight of them again until they all stopped just past Lyons Primary to deal with Dave C's bench stack...

I ended up crossing the line 47th in a time of 29:18...next week I'll get to the bus stop early!
