Track Meet #20 2010/11

Katie F was the fastest woman in sub 12 I think, a time she didn't seem happy with (of course, I'd be stoked!!)...

Craig D was running today and I asked him what time he was looking for (sub 13:00), I was hoping to get close to 13:00 after last week's effort so I figured I'd be chasing him...in fact I remained about 5-20m behind Craig until just after the 2k mark when I put my foot down...I'd kept telling him to pick up the pace because he seemed to be slowing each time we passed the finish...the clock read about 11:20 for my bell lap so I knew if I didn't pull a fetlock in the back straight I'd crack 13:00 and so it came to pass, a season's best!

it was weird because I didn't feel that fresh at the start and there was a headwind in the home straight instead of the back straight...

12:56.60 (13th) *my watch time was the same as the official time!

12th 3000m of the season for me and my 8th fastest of all-time...it's the second week in a row that I've run at lunchtime AND done a 600m WARM UP...

as you can imagine I was pretty pleased with myself...and, according to SG's time predictor table, this time equates to a 1:40 HM...wouldn't that be nice?!
