walked the boy this morning then cached for a couple of hours this afternoon around Yarralumla, Deakin, Red Hill, Manuka and Barton...
only one event for me on the program tonight:
3000m...13:10.55 (9th of 14 or 15)...and yes I passed another youngster tonight (I think this one was at least 12!) - this is just about the only time I pass runners younger than me on the track...back to my usual "pacing" - first 1st & 3rd k, slow 2nd!
splits: 0:49, 1:42, 1:47, 1:48, 1:49, 1:51, 1:50, 1:35
1k splits: 4:18, 4:32, 4:21
that makes 7 3000m races this track season...this one sits as my 2nd fastest of the season (after last week's was my slowest!!)...
tomorrow I'll be running Customs (Tim is planning on being there as well) and ACT baseball training at 5:30pm...there will be a dog walk in there for Hux somewhere as well as some more caching!
