Golf...

today was the first real test of my new clubs...

I'd been to the driving range the past two days - Narrabundah on Boxing Day and Gold Creek yesterday - but it's not the same as playing competitively...

hit some of the longest and, more importantly (!), straightest drives I've ever hit but I'm still to come to grips with my new putter which has a softer face than my old one...I scored 33pts which is playing to a 20 instead of 17...I'm planning to play 9 games in the next 3 weeks or so plus a social round on New Year's Day...hopefully I'll start hitting the ball consistently...

this evening Jodie and I went for a run...we headed out together then I headed around Yerrabi Pond while she headed into Forde...the plan was to try and finish together back at home after about 40mins...

Suze and Hux kept Jodie company and it nearly worked to perfection with me chasing her for the last k or so...I finished about 10-15secs behind her...
