Guest appearance

yes, our reluctant runner (Jodie) put in a guest appearance at Customs today and managed to run a Floriade course PB of 29:41...even better she was saying stuff like she felt strong up the last hill to the finish!...all bodes well for Sunday week...

warm conditions greeted us today and it was a bit windy on the outward leg...all the fair weather runners came out as well as a couple of new ones...I think we had at least 20 runners today...

I'm pleased with my run - I set out to catch Jodie but she started off 4:00 which was a bit too much of a head start...6:15 would have made it interesting!

Golf tomorrow then dinner somewhere with the family as a "bon voyage" type thing...

the Monthly Handicap at Mt Taylor Sunday then race off to watch the second half of the Women's AFL GF (Jodie is umpiring!)...

I'm meant to be meeting up with Stuart Reid and John Alcock around 1pm as I've volunteered to help out with results processing etc for the monthly handicaps then it's off to Majura Oval sometime between 2-4pm to register for BASEBALL!!

yes, this season I am becoming an Ainslie Gungahlin Bear! (should be fun, I hope!)
