we did 4 caches down Point Hut Crossing/Pine Island way...
I also ended up doing the shopping which is something I normally get out of due to cricket!
Today
gym was on as per usual this morning with 8 attendees...
did the following circuit (my partner & I missed out on deadlifts 3 x 12 due to time):
- boxing (2mins each of left/right jabs)
- abs 3 x 12 (oblique crunches with med. ball / reverse crunches / crunches)
- bike 5mins (30sec "on" / 30sec "off")
- bench press 3 x 12 (to failure)
- lunge jumps 3 x 12 each leg
- mini tramp running 5min (30sec "on" / 30sec "off")
- lat pulldowns 3 x 12 with shoulder ext. / int. rotations (3 x 6 each arm each way)
found out Tim's results from Noosa - 18th in the M35-39 category in 2:15:09 (swim 26:01, ride 1:06:37, run 42:30)...apparently it was quite windy and very warm on the run...
Al came 276th in the same category, 2:54:08 (swim 33:36, ride 1:19:09, run 1:01:23)...this was only Al's 2nd triathlon and 1st at this distance...
we are meant to have a centre wicket practice tonight at Kingston so hopefully the weather will hold...
