followed the TaskMaster's session plan, making adjustments as I went (mainly to the warm up & warm down; the fast/slow 20s should have been x 8)...
warm up: 2 x 50 (although 2nd 50 was 2 x 25 as I stopped halfway) + 2 x 50 pull buoy
DWR:
2 x steady effort, full range of movement [FROM] @ 7/10
2 x FROM with hesitation (full pressure thru water)
3 x 5min steady (8/10) rest 15sec
6 x each length broken up into thirds: steady (7/10) / heavy (9/10) / steady (7/10)
4 x 20 fast strides/20 easy strides
4 x steady effort, FROM @ 7/10
warm down: 2 x 50 pull buoy
total session ~60mins...
a good solid session!
Parental Update: mum had her first physio session today following her complete knee replacement (27 July)...everything's going well...maybe 2-3 more physio sessions before she can progress to an exercise bike!
it's been 20 weeks & 1 day since my surgery!
