he was back and a good session was had, he even managed to sneak in 500m of swimming all up...
started with 2 x 50 free, 2 x 50 pull buoy (focus on my arms needing to enter "wider" rather than crossing over the midline) & 2 x 50 kick
some new drills in the DWR component which were good challenges...e.g. hesitation stride every 3 strides; repeating 4 fast strides/4 slow strides...
finished with 2 x 50 kick (last 10m of 1st 50 & first 25m of 2nd 50 he got me to kick on my back & then switch back to the board for the last 25m - my kicking was better immediately) & 2 x 50 pull buoy (focusing on stroke width again as well as gliding on each stroke)...
next session: Monday
