parkrun #166...

Friday night was spent at emergency at Calvary as mum had tripped at home and landed face first, suffering a broken nose and some memory loss...dad had taken her there and rang me after they arrived...we got there at 9:30pm and mum was released until about 1:15am and we were home about 2am after we made sure she was settled at home...

made it to parkrun...

I cancelled golf to go see mum and help tidy up as my aunt and uncle are coming to visit from Tassie for about a week...

Jodie came over as well and we managed to do heaps while stopping mum from doing too much...cognitively mum was a lot better and only seemed to have a 5hr or so memory gap from before the trip until she'd been at hospital for awhile...

Tammie bought lunch over about 3pm and we headed home just after 4:30pm...

Jodie came over for dinner later...

today's speedygeese short long run was at Red Hill...we started out following the route but then the leaders went rogue...when I caught up to them (they were stopped at the road) they were about to head back along the golf course...not wanting to run more than the planning distance I left them to rejoin the route which meant going up the back side of Red Hill...I didn't see any of them again until I crossed paths with Sue B on the dinky out & back bit...I didn't see anyone else until I followed some one back to the finish after doing the Tardis stairs...ended up being longest PS run time-wise...
